HISTORY

The West Central Ohio Paralysis Foundation (WCOPF) was started in 2009. The WCOPF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  The founder, Cory Trenkamp, has lived with a complete spinal cord injury since January 2000.  Cory and his family spent many hours learning how to cope and live with a spinal cord injury. The information that was gained was very valuable.  Although life would never be back to normal, a new normal would emerge for the family and for Cory.  However, all the time and errors could have been avoided if the information and resources could have been more easily found.  The WCOPF wants to be able to help those families when faced with some of the challenges of living with a spinal cord injury.
